Sweet wine that ages for years in barrels. Dense and full-bodied, its aromas of raisins and honey make it a special accompaniment to ensaimada, robiols and all kinds of Mallorcan pastries.
Grape varieties: callet 50%, tempranillo 30% y moscatell 20%
Growing system: in goblet and trellis
Location of the vineyard: Manacor and Felanitx
Type of wine: Mass wine
Alcoholic strength: 14 % vol.
Residual sugar: 105 gr/l
Fermentation: stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels (3 years) and subsequent aging in bottle.
Tasting notes: wine made as it would traditionally be made in Mallorca, blending white and red grapes and evaporating the must until it is reduced by half. It contains no alcohol or added sugar.
Its color is that of a good brandy. It has aromas of candied orange peel and toasted hazelnuts, and in the mouth the alcohol is not found so it does not bother. It is fresh and not at all cloying.
Recommendations: combines well with pastries, especially puff pastries, pies, Catalan cream and Easter pastries.
Serving temperature: serve between 6º-8º C
Currently, eleven small estates make up the 9 hectares of vineyards that produce the grapes for our wines. Most of them are located in the municipality of Manacor and some in Felanitx and Petra, and they are all registered in D.O.P. Pla i Llevant de Mallorca.
We grow all the grapes we produce and do not buy grapes from third parties, thus controlling the entire production process.
