Dolç des Port 2017


Sweet red wine, port style, not cloying, fresh and with good acidity. Special to drink with chocolate desserts, cheeses or just as an aperitif glass.

Grape varieties: syrah 40% and pinot noir 60%.

Alcoholic strength: 16 % vol.

Residual sugar: 87 gr/l

Fermentation: stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.

Aging: 24 months in French and American oak barrels and subsequent bottle aging.

Tasting notes: sweet port style wine with cherry color and brick-red rim. Aromas reminiscent of cherries in alcohol and ripe fruit. In the mouth it is pleasant and sweet, without excess sugar, with good acidity and smooth harmony.

Recommendations: combines well with all chocolate pastries and blue cheeses.

Serving temperature: serve between 12º-14º C

What is the origin of our wines?

Currently, eleven small estates make up the 9 hectares of vineyards that produce the grapes for our wines. Most of them are located in the municipality of Manacor and some in Felanitx and Petra, and they are all registered in D.O.P. Pla i Llevant de Mallorca.

We grow all the grapes we produce and do not buy grapes from third parties, thus controlling the entire production process.
